It generates components with data that describes their behaviors, which can then be analyzed (quantification, cubication, energy analysis).<\/p>\n<p>It also generates consistent and non-redundant data in such a way that changes in the data of the components are represented in all views. Additionally, it generates coordinated data in such a way that all views of a model are represented in a coordinated manner.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, BIM is a process of data generation and management that is implemented throughout the life cycle of a building. This includes cost management, project management, and a simultaneous working process in most of the stages related to the life cycle of a building. BIM largely prevents the loss of information associated with the transfer of data from the design team to the construction team and then to the operator or owner of the building, as it allows each group to add and feedback all the information they manage in a single model. In this way, it seeks to increase efficiency in the different processes of design, construction, and operation of buildings.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"col medium-4 small-12
